Crystal Reports in Xpages

I have searched for "Xpages" and "Crystal Reports" and it seems there is very little activity.  Are they compatible?  Does anyone have experience with how to do this?

 It's been several years, but I used NotesSQL driver to allow Chrystal Reports to see Notes data as relational data via ODBC.
 
Not elegant, but worked.
